"Black Cat" is an anime series based on Kentaro Yabuki's manga of the same name. Initially unveiled in May 2005, the series was created by Gonzo and helmed by director Shin Itagaki. The storyline revolves around Train Heartnet, a renowned assassin also known as Black Cat, who transitions into a bounty hunter under the moniker Sweeper.
